Every year we team up with Davy for the Time to Read Programme, with this we have 14 volunteers who come in to read with some 2nd and 3rd class boys each week.
Last week everybody met at the library where Eimear the librarian read the boys a story before they joined their volunteers to write their own stories.
The boys then got a chance to explore the library with their volunteers too.
This is a great programme which has been run alongside Businesses in the Community for over 10 years in our school. The boys are really looking forward to their workplace visit too which will be happening over the next few weeks.
