4 in a Row. Our Gaelic team had their 4th win in a row today in Fairview Park against a battling Colaiste Mhuire team from Parnell Square. The first half was a tight affair with only 2 points separating the sides at half time. In the second half we got more into our stride and played really well as a team to run out convincing winners on a scoreline of 1-16 to 0-7. We had many outstanding performances but special mention goes to Alexandru Kovacs in goal, Alex Fox and Tadhg Byrne in defence; and Bobby Reid, Conor Walsh and Gustavo Busnella (who scored 5 points in only his 4th ever game) in the forwards. It would be very hard to pick a man of the match out of our brilliant midfielders Callum Burnett and Jake Osborne so they get a joint award. Congratulations also to Sam Byrne, CIaran Leavy, Wilker Rodrigues da Cruz and Raul Ghuizan who made their GAA debuts today. Unfortunately 4 out of 5 wins isn't enough for the great group of young men to make the semi finals this year but they have represented the school and their families so well this year. Thank you to all of the boys who have trained and played matches for the school team this year and hopefully we will be able to arrange more games after Easter. We are all very proud of you boys. Well done!
