Our active walkway was introduced this year to promote more activity and movement in school. It is very important that we get our exercise everyday. The walkway starts in the school shed goes in and around our astro pitch back out and around the school yard in a clockwise direction. There are 14 different stations and there are several activities that can be done at each station depending on what the teacher would like to do.
We have completed maths trials, exercise trials, geography trials and mindful walking using our Active Walkway. It has been great for the boys to get a break from the classroom and it incorporates the different subjects in a fun and interactive way.
